Saudi Arabia should be treated the same as Iran.

Why we are selling them weapons?
Maybe Israel is asking the same question.

I wonder if the Saudis first got reassurance from somewhere that the USA would not retaliate by invading Saudi Arabia? Maybe the U. S. didn't want to invade to avoid greatly upsetting the global oil market.

Only crazy people would celebrate this.

The POTUS selling weapons to a country that openly executed a journalist working for an American news outlet, countless human rights violations, and butt-buddies with his Son-in-Law.

Drain the swamp, was it?

QED. Our policy to keep the nations in the ME fighting against each other has been working well for decades.

Obama didn't start it. And Trump is not ending it.

Same party same greed. The Only difference I see is that conservatives have no problem stabbing you in the front, the liberals are sneaker and stab you in the back.

Sadly in some areas they can be one in the same.
But they are far from the same in other platform positions.

A strange one now is how the "Secure" program is being backed by both parties. I expect the (D's) to be all for it, but the (R's) have me scratching my head. If it makes it to Trump and he signs it, chalk up another promise broken by the government to the citizens when it comes to their money.

Oh wait, he was part of your team, so anything he did was great, but anything Trump does is evil.

Classic example of TDS on display.
So vector thinks trump should be more like Obama.

Refreshingly honest.

While the journalist being killed (and in the gruesome manner) was not something any western society would approve of, it would hardly be a reason to cause the relationship with one of the few stable allies we have in the Middle East to be harmed.
We need to understand and draw a line with how they run their countries (and by extension control their religious zealots) vs. our western cultural values.

Bush made a huge mistake by taking out Saddam.
Obama & Hillary made huge mistakes by taking our Mubarak of Egypt, and Gaddafi of Libya. What filled the void in all three examples was worse than what existed before.

So just like Biden worked with segregationists to get things accomplished ( a good thing Harris attacked him for ), we cannot insist other countries/cultures be ideologically and ethically pure by our standards to work and do business with them.
