Finally an intelligent unscripted response on race!

Quote:
Washington (CNN)Former President Barack Obama on Monday released a pointed statement condemning "language coming out of the mouths of any of our leaders" that "normalizes racist sentiments." The statement, which did not directly name President Donald Trump, follows two mass shootings in the US in the span of 13 hours -- one of which involved a white supremacist suspect.

"We should soundly reject language coming out of the mouths of any of our leaders that feeds a climate of fear and hatred or normalizes racist sentiments; leaders who demonize those who don't look like us, or suggest that other people, including immigrants, threaten our way of life, or refer to other people as sub-human, or imply that America belongs to just one certain type of people," Obama said.

Barack Obama had a unique opportunity to be a racial healer and implicitly campaigned as such. Then once in power he nurtured racial grievances for political advantage and set the country back roughly two decades in race relations. So no, I don't need to hear any lectures from this fraud about the state of race relations in the country today.

Obama is an intellectual, Donald Trump isn't. You don't miss your water until the well runs dry.

Like calling Trayvon Martin his son? Calling Michael Brown a victim?

Obama was a Race Huckster before he was anything else.

I fail to see how a man that spent 8 years dividing the country can be credited for making an “intelligent unscripted response” on race.

Does that include “white males” or “Christains” or is it ok to demonize them still?

I do too, but maybe he should have listened to himself when he was in office. I wouldn't have wanted a 3rd term.

His class warfare and rhetoric certainly divided far more than it united.

This from someone who used identity politics. Double standard.

So you are one of the few 1000 left in the USA who still believes CNN without thought or question. LOL
