As I predicted a few days ago, this is how "The Left" is going to lump every white conservative who goes against their talking points as a "white nationalist," "white supremacist," etc.
If you are a white conservative you will be called a "white nationalist/supremacist," same thing if you are a Trump supporter, same thing if you go against "The Left's" talking points, same things if you disagree with the establishment's narrative, etc. You get the point.

The shooter in Dayton was left wing and would have shot just as many as the shooter in El Paso if a passing police patrol hadn't intervened.

I really think what is being talked about here is not "every" anything. But there sure are a lot of people emboldened in hate by this "president's" words.
If I were Trump, I would sue for slander and damages. He will have a case in this one. You can't just call someone a "White Nationalist" with no evidence.
It is hard to tell what Trump is as he adjusts his message to manipulate his supporters. Put another way he tells them what they want to hear not what he actually believes. Hence we see the big gap between his promises and his performance in office. On the other hand, he certainly appeals to white nationalists. They adore him. So there must be something to this.

David Duke endorsed both Ilhan Omar and Barak Obama (he perceived that both of them will be tougher on Israel - in the case of Omar he was correct). The White Nationalists who praise Trump do so because of his tougher stance on illegal immigration than other candidates.

Well the FBI says white nationalist terror groups are the concern and they are overwhelmingly right wing. True back in the 1960’s and don’t put ANTIfa on the same level.
