I always thought why we AND the Iranians are bombing ISIS together. Something didn't make sense. May be we should be arming ISIS now, and don't doubt for a second we are not. They'll shut down that east-west corridor the Iranians thought they had in no time.
Is it regressive to say we should just let the Middle East alone and let the Russians and other major players solve it? We've been fighting the Taliban for over a decade, and we are now negotiating with them as equals so we can withdraw. Just leave the whole region alone, stop exacerbating things, and let it solve itself.
Exactly. It's not worth the life of one American serviceman or woman to keep Middle Eastern Muslims from killing each other. Bring our people home. If the people of the ME want to make something of their nations and bring them to the 21st century, fine. If they want to keep pretending it's the 7th century-let them.
Thats something I hate about US media, they make it look like ISIS has been all but beaten...when in reality, all the US has done is kill some members.
They dont seem to realize that, when the US kills members, even top leadership...they simply replace the deceased with new members!
Don't worry, just a few guys with guns here and there. A couple trillion should be able to suppress them. Between that and creating millions of refugees we can handle this one with our super duper new weapons systems.
If it was up to the Pentagon, we would stay there FOREVER... And continue lucrative contracts with vendors filled with board members from the Pentagon.... Idiots... ISIS is not making a comeback... Trying is not the same as success....
So now you want to put American boots on the ground in Iraq and Syria? How gullible of you.
Who said anything about going back? ISIS is dead...
