No one has to hire someone they don't like. CK is disliked by the NFL owners.

He's a liability and so far....no owner wants to take him on because of it.

He had a right to protest in the manner he chose. They have a right to ban him from their teams because of it.

That's how business works.
Rather strange double standard, felons accused of assault - no problem but if you take a knee you will be banned for life.

Yes they so, why do you think he won the lawsuit, he is supposed to be hired because of his ability. Since the lawsuit is settled I don't think anyone will take him on, just pointing out that he is better than many of the backups.

Kap never was any good, he wouldn't have a job in the NFL today anyway.

He's not better than Kevin Beachum, Chad Kanoff, Nathan Peterman?

Reminds me of bringing back Latrell Sprewell (sp), who if I recall correctly bit a referee.

Choked his coach.

Spree was keeping it real. Go Knicks!

It's not a double standard. It's about if that player still has value.

Kap has proven he isn't good enough to start. So why bring a backup with all that baggage he's carrying? If he wasn't a distraction he very well could have been signed by a team. The Broncos offered him a contract and he refused it.
He's a poser.

The double standard is on the part of the fans. And if the fans protested every wife beater in the NFL, forcing the NFL to get rid of those players, it would probably reduce the number of teams by at least half.
