Epstein’s cell mate had been transferred out at the time of Epstein’s suicide, the Times reported, leaving him alone only two weeks after he was taken off suicide watch, a move that also violated the Metropolitan Correctional Center’s standard protocol, according to officials.
Aren't supposed to be left alone? Meaning no cellie? This is stupid reporters not knowing anything about prisons or how they work. An inmate is always safer without a cellie. It wouldn't surprise me if the cellmate is the one who beat him the first time. If fed prisons are relying on cellmates to keep them from being depressed then that is the dumbest thing I have ever heard of.

Except you are propagating Russian intelligence yourself - as he was not shot in the head and was actually left alive - and MANY who have dealt with vast numbers of contract killings have stated it has zero marks of such.

They DO shoot in the head and they don't leave their victims alive......AND, they don't follow them 30 blocks through bad neighborhoods at 4am where 1/2 dozen similar robberies (armed) occurred in the weeks before...

There you go. Now you don't have to read or listen to Russians or others pushing their theories.

https://news.yahoo.com/exclusive-the...100000831.html

It shows the problem with our times..

" Fox News was forced to retract the story"

"In the six weeks prior to Rich’s shooting, there had been seven armed robberies in the same neighborhood, causing residents to complain to local police.

“We’ve had so many holdups on the same corner, with the same method of holdup, where two guys grab the person,” "

Let's more on. Check your facts.....if you kindly would.

But MCC isn't any old prison. They had special areas each with their own protocols.
There was 10 south where El Chappo was and then 9 south where Epstein was.

Glad this poll has a closing date. It would be more sensible to re-visit this in a few months when we actually have some facts.

Well if they didn't follow them then they will be in trouble, even if the protocols are stupid. Having a cellmate will not keep someone bent on suicide from doing it, neither will 30 minute checks.

This is one of the few times where I am going to side with the conspiracy group. There are far too many coincidences. This wasn't a guano one heard of or cared about. This was a super high priority scum bag. If ever there was someone who needed to be suicided it was Epstein.

Yes they will continue the investigation, and it will be much easier to change the narrative without the main character being alive to call bs or to tell what really happened....

There are too many high profile politicians on both sides of this who have been implicated including high ranking foreign nationals.

Maybe Epstein killed himself, but I think it just as plausible that he was murdered.

I think they are going to focus on the "prison guard crisis" as the reason this happened.

I mean..has anyone ever heard of overtime being described as "extreme overtime" ?
Even if they were tired due to this extreme overtime then at least 1 guy does the circuit while the other guy sleeps.
But neither one did their circuit for hours.

They (officers) might lose some pay for a period of time and the union will fight to get more staff hired. They will not get fired but they should have done the procedures laid out for the unit, if nothing else just to cover their own butts. Dude still could have committed suicide.

Wait -- Barr is in charge.

Highly sensitive case and you don't make sure that the folks at the prison know this and operate accordingly.

To all you conspiracy kids....are you saying this administration is so incompetent they didn't know to protect themselves from all of this stuff that seems to be well known.

Either way -- bad look for this administration.

They just don't do things right do they.
