Copenhagen is one of the most liberal cities in the world. Why don't you tell us how horrible a city it is?
Oops!
BTW Boston is also about the same size as Copenhagen. And yes, they would indeed compare favorably. Convenient you picked the worst city you could think of, and it's not even in KY or WV (which is the actual topic here).
Except the people are much nicer and friendlier in Copenhagen than they are in Boston .
Maybe on an individual and locality level, but not on a general or state level. Everywhere has poverty so obviously you can't reduce it by everyone moving around.
I'm sure if you crunch all the numbers and all the factors, the US it getting as much or more out of KY and WV than is giving them.
HOW??? 15% of West Virginia is on Disability! That includes Medicare and then they go on Medicare at 65. Come on! We pay for black lung, we pay for food stamps, we send them money by the barrel. What are we getting out of Kentucky and West Virginia besides a huge bill?!
You don’t know that european countries heavily control their food chains, portion sizes, types of foods available? This is common knowledge.
We have the FDA which controls what hits the U.S. market. If the FDA allows a food that kills me that is not a freedom I want. The fact our meet is so hormone filled and no one in the rest of the world accepts it is not a positive.
I have been to Europe. Their produce is better in my opinion.

If WV and KY want to receive food stamps, welfare, Disability and Medicare, how about we say after a certain BMI, no more? If they blow their food stamps on soda for cash, how about we say no more food stamps? This whole "the Europeans restrict freedom" ignores that the socialist programs benefiting these states are being taken advantage of.

By all measures they are money sucking holes. The ARC was the biggest waste of money we’ve had. All it did was enable a cycle of government dependency.

I don't know lots of things. Liquor, coal, natural gas and crude with fracking, timber, Toyotas etc, republican voters now .

Well, how about you push for whichever state that you live in to secede from the Union, then you won't have to worry about it anymore? And then we won't have to hear you whine about it. It's a win/win.

Are you going to apply that standard in every state or just these two states for some odd reason?
