And a reply from Greenland
adam seven 🇫🇮 🇪🇺 (@a7_FIN_SWE) Tweeted:
Greenland's chief of govrmnt wants to buy USA back. "It was Leif the Fortunate that discovered America, and his father Erik the Red who discovered Greenland. It's only natural." The price will have to be set relatively low, due to the huge government debt. "With Trump even lower" https://t.co/EUeIWthAF3

They could discuss European affairs, the EU, the Russian nuclear accident, Russian interference in European elections, etc.
But those discussions are for adults. Trump the man baby is out of his league here. Give Trump a pacifier. It would benefit all of us.
What exactly would Denmark bring to the table in those discussions? Its not like its some great world power or even a great power within the EU
Moving on, yes, the Tweet is ridiculous. But its intentionally so, aimed at changing the focus of media attention. And the media (and left) fall for it every time.
Honestly, I don't think they could pull it off. The population simply isn't big enough. 56k? I suppose they should get the opportunity to vote on it now and again.
They have their own legislature, and it is perfectly within their scope - although I do not know whether it would require a plebiscite or just a parliamentary action. But it's within the Greenlanders' rights to put independence to a vote, pass it, and be independent the day after.
56K people are not a lot to deal with foreign policy and whatnot, though.
Yes, Trump called off a meeting of the PM of Denmark because she won't discuss the sale of Greenland.
Seriously, has there ever been a bigger idiot or moron as President. Trump is an embarrassment to this nation and a total disgrace to the American people. In other words, a loser in every sense.
I heard that Denmark spends $700M annually on Greenland. What do they get out of it? They should sell that white elephant

The fact that Denmark cannot sell Greenland has completely whooshed over both Trump's head and yours, hasn't it? Not that it would be for sale, anyway. Civilized countries don't hand over their citizens to the world's largest banana republic.
