If adults were running the Fed the Fed wouldn't exist.

The Fed ended it in 2014.

I agree, but that's not the point. The point is now Trump wants the Fed to save him from himself.

He is no different than any politician (except retired Ron Paul) in that he is willing to kick the same can down the road which will eventually cause much greater harm to our economy when it eventually collapses... and it MUST eventually collapse because they cannot pay the interest due on debt with the higher rate government bonds that are maturing. That is why they are considering issuing 50 and 100 year low rate government bonds.

Ron Paul's YouTube channel has been covering the impending but certain collapse for some time now, and lately it has really ratcheted up.

Sounds like Trump-type instant gratification solutions. But we all know Donny's long sad history of failed businesses and bankruptcies, as well as financial crimes, so there is no surprise here. Donny loves playing fast and loose with other people's money. This is a fiscally irresponsible man, who did not pay his bills, did not pay back investors or banks and even scams charity donors. All that gold stuff and supposed billions are just hype.

I like how he says "the Economy is so strong" statement, he apparently doesn't understand how the Fed works, if the economy is too strong, the fed raises interest rates to slow the economy down so it doesn't get over heated and lowers the interest rate if the economy is getting too weak to speed it up.

Well it's good to see Trump feuding with another one of his "best people" (Jerome Powell).

Trump is talking about how Jerome Powell was a "nobody" until Trump put him in charge of the Fed and now Trump is indignant that the guy is doing his job.

Who besides Trump would ever say something like that? Sheesh.

Here's to hoping that Powell remains in charge of the Fed until Trump is out of office.

QE is very dangerous and should not even have been done under Obama. The fact that Trump is calling for it to be started up again says everything that needs to be said about the current economy.

Plus, remember how outraged conservatives were when QE happened under Obama? Remember how reckless they said it was? Why is QE all of a sudden a great thing now that Trump is advocating it?
