The Proud Boys for years have helped organize street fights in Portland, Oregon ― gatherings thinly veiled as political freedom rallies in order to secure permits or police escorts from the city.
This week, that veil was lifted, as the group’s leader admitted the ugly and obvious truth: The events are staged with the intention of spurring fights, wasting city resources and winning a game of optics against their anti-fascist nemeses.
Everyone knows the proud boys go out looking for trouble. And Antifa falls for it and gets knocked down like bowling pins, even when they bring pipes, hammers and other dangerous weapons to the fight. 9 times out of 10, the proud boys are able to take these weapons from their girly hands and beat them senseless with their fists. I fully support that
The fact of the matter is, the proud boys are free to demonstrate, just like the KKK and neo nazis do. Antifa is not free to destroy property, or attempt bodily harm to people they disagree with. Neo nazis, KKK and the proud boys are not free to destroy property either, but they generally march in a more peaceful manner than Antifa, which tells you everything you need to know about these losers.
None of these groups represent mainstream views. Only the media and their brainwashed lemmings are trying to pin these groups to a political party or movement, but that is disingenuous. If anything, it is more proof of the divide and conquer strategy that the media and politicians have been successfully using to turn Americans against one another.
I don't believe in the overall message of the Proud Boys as they are Marxist punks just like Antifa.
However, making the State spend money is an admirable cause. I encourage everyone to drain the resources of the government, as long as you do it non-violently while respecting private property rights, every chance you get.

Yeah, ANTIFA has a history of attacking old people, young women....whomever. Proudboys seem to just like to beat up ANTIFA types. I don't like either group.

the media is doing a replay of the 1% vs the 99%. they make things appear larger of smaller depending on their intentions. Media tried to sell gun ownership was dwindling to make gun owners feel they were outside the majority trend. The silence of the media is often louder than their propaganda. media tries to equate Christianity with fundamental islam terrorists. antifa and BLM are sanctioned by democrats, receive outside financial support and appear in far more cities and incidents and have accomplished more violence that the never of heard of 'proud boys'. both spew violence to make the poor boys look like hobbyists.

I'm trying to recall...ain't the "Proud Boys" supposed to be a bunch of racist White Supremacists? It appears that their leader, Enrique Tarrio, didn't get the message that he is one of those the Proud Boys hates... Doesn't it make you wonder just what other lies the media has been promoting about them?
Has there ever been violence at a Proud Boys event without the presence of Pantifa? The inverse certainly has happened.
