If one thinks that it is only Republicans that hire illegal aliens then they aren't dealing in reality. The only fix that the Democrats want is another massive amnesty. How is that a fix? At least Trump is trying deter more from coming here and enforcing our immigration internally. The Democrats don't want a secure border that includes good physical barriers and they love them sanctuary cities. They also want to give them healthcare and college tuition. It's the Democrats that love illegal aliens not the Republicans.
The right hates the truth about all the immigrants working on farms, construction etc.
Much easier to not solve the problem and use it to motivate your base.

Here in Arizona there are lots of 2nd generation kids who end up dropping out of school and getting on public assistance. Certainly lots that don't contribute at all. With our huge budget deficits we can't afford to carry a whole generation of people by spending billions on them yearly.
Bring in immigrants that have assets and an education instead of those working under the table cleaning houses and construction or at the worst selling illegal drugs.
Let non violent prisoners out one year early under the condition they take a job that is current done by people here illegally. Farm work, construction or fast food. Every time ICE catching one illegal give the prisoner the job.

Trump could hire illegals all day, and he actually has, and the right wouldn't care.
First we supposedly needed black slaves to "mow our lawns" and to displace and not pay for free market American workers. Next it was supposedly needed mass immigration from Eastern and Southern Europe to keep market wages down and displace American workers. Illegal aliens are just the current way to displace and not pay for American workers and also to displace American voters.

I think that is exactly right. Well stated. That is why we had slavery, and now open borders. Any other explanations is just the one percenters trying to confuse the issue.
Only person who ever suggested I should find 'some illegals' to do my yard work was a devout, committed, loud and proud, conservative Republican.
Makes me laugh now. Cut to a few years later and it is all the Dems fault that folks overstayed temp visas to do the yard work, painting, construction work for liberals and conservatives.
