It's straight prostitution. It's funny that these girls think that giving it some other name changes what it in fact is. then when they get older, do they all of a sudden think that they shouldn't be judged on their looks?
It's prostitution. Whether or not sex happens is (almost) irrelevant. They will do mental gymnastics to convince themselves it is something else, but it isn't. Most of these women would have no interest in any of these guys, sexually or otherwise if no money was involved. That's how you know what it is.
Check again. One of the girls making complaints against Epstein was 18. Technically an adult. Did it suddenly matter that the troubled teen was 16 and not 18? That is nerve to suggest otherwise.

I don't think prostitution should be illegal or anything. To each their own. I am merely stating my personal judgment of those who willingly do this. Of course I think people who sign up for 30 year mortgages are idiots too, so clearly I am a couple standard deviations away from the norm. I happen to believe female companionship, while nice at times, is not worth paying for.
I think all kinds of "normal" things are absolutely insane...including 30 year mortgages!
I'm just saying that personal opinions aside individuals should have the freedom to choose how they wish to exchange goods and services using currencies of their choice.

As long as the girls were not forced and they are mature enough mentally, there has to be some leeway with age. IMO of course. After all, in a more natural teleological fashion a menstruating 12 y/o female is about the best reproductive object out there.
But we have laws that for instance that say 18. And that's that.
I'm a doc, and in my training I cared for and delivered a few in the 12-14 age bracket. In my small experience I found a vast difference in mental capability. For one 14 y/o this was her second child, and already had the accepting parents lined up. I would have guessed her to be at least 18.
Because your basic premise is "voluntary". Your premise , I assume , is that neither part was physically forced into the arrangement e.g. at barrel of a gun. However, it can be fear of starvation or homelessness. Or are you saying its OK in your book if a 12 year old girl exchanges sex with a 50 year old man for money? Is your libertarianism that heartless?
