Extreme heat? What extreme heat? Watch this video and ask yourself where the extreme heat is the OP is talking about. It's only 8 minutes and 7 seconds long. I hope you have an attention span that is only 8 min 7 secs.
Man may adapt but corn sure will not. A crop like corn cannot pollinate with temps above 95. Higher temps may also kill off the bees. More importantly, more heat ,less water.
There are many people who under the impression they will simply be able to turn their thermostats down. They seem to forget that we have an aging electrical grid that will fry with the excess demand for power.
If your think the US has problems with immigration now wait until these southern countries become unbearable because of the heat. There will be mass migrations in every form you can imagine.
The effects of CC are limitless. We will also need to contend with insects migrating northward that will bring disease.
No need to try to control population. Climate change will take care of that.
With the changing weather patterns, it is not only the heat but the drought in some areas and the flooding in others that will result in an increasing number of climate migrants.

"The world is looking towards a future where these “unprecedented” storms are commonplace. This global challenge has and will continue to create a multitude of critical issues that the international community must confront, including:
Large-scale human migration due to resource scarcity, increased frequency of extreme weather events, and other factors, particularly in the developing countries in the earth’s low latitudinal band.
Intensifying intra- and inter-state competition for food, water, and other resources, particularly in the Middle East and North Africa.
Increased frequency and severity of disease outbreaks.
Increased U.S. border stress due to the severe effects of climate change in parts of Central America
All of these challenges are serious, but the scope and scale of human migration due to climate change will test the limits of national and global governance as well as international cooperation."
LOL... Action will be taken. However, the longer we take, the more drastic the action. Your attitude will go the way of the tobacco is healthy for you crowd.
The earth is getting hotter. Our ice caps are melting which will rise ocean levels and wipe out many cities. It’s not hysteria, it’s called trying to save our planet.
The Rolling stone article is climate porn for people who can't reach an orgasm thru virtue signalling alone.

Nope, the only action will be rhetoric that action must be taken. Nobody really knows what “action” needs to be taken. Politicians fall back on throwing money at it but that solves nothing.
The best action is no action. After all, it’s just weather.
