We'll see where the poll numbers are when she gets here.
Am I missing something here, in terms of a strategy?

Yes. Biden could potentially beat Trump, but no way is the middle class going to vote for socialist Warren. (And her attempt to use affirmative action to her benefit through a lie won't help her, either.) Thus, I will vote for the candidate Trump is more likely to beat in the general.

I think you are wrong. I think the Republicans have no chance of winning the presidency in 2020 now that the monster has been destroying the country as hard and as fast as he could since he was let into the White House and turned out to be a bull in a China shop that the whole world is laughing at. He's such an embarrassment to America and his followers, particularly at this point are complicit with all his crap.

She will certainly generate enthusiasm and make a strong run at the Dem nomination. But there's just no way for her to win a general election. It's inconceivable.
It is only inconceivable to YOU. If you like Trump and his diabolical policies, of course you are not going to support Warren. But you are only one person. And people who agree with you do not have the numbers to win in 2020. Russia was involved in getting Trump into the White House and that will be proven in the coming months. Putin is not a nice guy and he hates democracy and all that it stands for. Trump also hates democracy. He wants to be a dictator, but it's not in the cards --- the universe has other plans.

That's probably one of the first times she's ever had a conversation with a black person.

All presidents want to be a dictator -- Obama certainly did.

By the way we are not a democracy.

The only thing involved with getting Trump into the White House was a terrible candidate with the initials HRC.

People conveniently forget that our main government is supposed to be our STATE government, not the Feds. Why is it structured that way? You can get to your state capital a lot easier than most can get to D.C. It is about ACOUNTABILITY.

(Breathing a sigh of relief) Ok, I was worried about you, Rachel.

I get it, but don't see where the notion comes from that Biden could beat Trump. Granted, he might well **** off fewer people than Warren. On the other hand, there are lots of misguided women out there who would support Warren for the same reason they supported Hillary.

Actually, I'd be more worried about Kamala Harris....am surprised though pleased that she hasn't done better in the polls.

Bottom line is....nobody's going to beat Trump and Hillary will spend the next 4 years gloating about how much better she did in 2016 than the 2020 loser will. It won't even be close - regardless of who they run.

Americans genuinely like having Trump as their President - more so than any in my lifetime, including Reagan. Simply by being honest and direct, dispensing with the PC BS, doing our business they way we want it done, he has raised the bar to a level not seen by anyone alive today.

2020 is safe, but there will be big lines of people cashing in their chips in late 2024. There will have never been a tougher act to follow....at least in modern times.
