DOJ IG Michael Horowitz has officially finished his investigation into the misuse of the FISA warrant process with regards to the FBI's "surveillance" of President Trump's campaign. Horowitz notified AG William Barr earlier today. After a review and comment period, the report will be sent to Congress and made public.

Depending on what it says, Chairman Nadler and Chairman Cummings might even invite IG Horowitz in to testify about the contents of the report.

DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz completes investigation into alleged FISA abuse

Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz has officially completed his investigation into alleged Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act abuses by the Justice Department and FBI. Rep. Doug Collins, the top Republican on the House Judiciary Committee, revealed in a letter Thursday that Horowitz notified Attorney General William Barr of the completion of his investigation earlier in the day.

After a review and comment period, the report will be sent to Congress and be made public.

Horowitz's team examined the FISA application and three renewals beginning in October 2016 to surveil former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page. The applications relied heavily on the unverified dossier compiled by British ex-spy Christopher Steele, who was hired by opposition research firm Fusion GPS and funded by Democrats.

Nadler and the Democrats refused to hold a hearing with Horowitz after the Comey report.
They have other priorities than hearing about FISA abuse and Leadership abuse/corruption during the Obama years.

They are focused totally of hiding information from the American public, attempting an Impeachment and taking control of all of the Government.

They will fail - but they will continue to try.

Maybe now they can have him in to testify before Congress for the full day about both the Comey and the FISA reports. If they still refuse to have him in at all after this report, that is going to look very fishy.

There is a third report also on the way as well, unless I am mistaken.

I don't believe there is another report, the FISA report is the last one.

If all hell is about to break loose, as some people claim, and indictments are going to rain down, you should start hearing the media getting out ahead of it anytime now.

I don't expect much in the way of accountability coming, maybe something fairly minor, but I don't expect major fireworks.

The republicans could have had Horowitz at a hearing last year, but now you're blaming the democrats. Horowitz has not completed his report and IG's don't normally attend hearings in any event.

I guess if you look hard enough you can find a conspiracy anywhere.

Yes, Inspector Generals do attend hearings, in fact Horowitz has done so for all of his reports.

The Republicans do not control the committee, so they cannot call Horowitz to testify.

You made two points, and were wrong with both of them.

Also, he knew both points were wrong when he made them. He does this a lot.

The Senate can hold the hearings and make it clear that the House Judicial Committee refuses to hold any hearing that is not related to Impeachment. Better for the Senate to do it anyway. Democrats on the House Committee have already stated they can’t conduct their own questioning & have to have “ hired staff” from Lawfare to do interrogations.

Republicans should have had Horowitz testify last year about an investigation that had yet to take place?
