Finn is right. You plug someone who is running away and you are going to find it tough to stay out of jail.
Three dead people, and 2 weapons were recovered.
Sounds like a couple of them were unarmed.

They are looking for more people who may have been involved.
300 people attended a candle light vigil for the 3 dead robbers.

If ANY member of a group of thugs is armed, and the mob invades a private home, it is moral, correct, and proper to shoot all of them until they are dead. In the back, in the head, wherever. The fact that they are running in fear after being surprised by deadly force is unimportant.

And it is quite disgusting if 300 people showed up for a “vigil” for the deceased thugs. They should instead be holding a vigil outside the shooter’s home, thanking him for preventing the future murders likely to have been committed by these brigands in their future criminal careers.

I support your right to self defense even though I am pretty liberal. IF (and it's a big IF) this story is truly just self defense, the homeowner had every right to defend his own life. It's still sad that 3 teenagers died, nothing to celebrate there. If it turns out it was a drug deal gone bad, is the homeowner still a hero? The story is really fishy...

Self defense is a natural right, and available to all. Even those who purchase illegal drugs.
