That’s how some folks wind down; in their driveway with their AR15’s waiting for masked arm robbers. Nothing illegal about that.
No, not illegal, but unusual to the point that it never really happens unless they were up to something, like waiting for the kids to deliver drugs to them.

Mr. AR15 made short work of these thugs. Everyone should own one, or 7
One is enough for me, although don't use it to hang out in the drive way playing Rambo.

From what I HEARD on the radio (which is NOT substantiated as fact), the homeowner was in his yard when the three tried to rob, at gunpoint, the homeowner and at least one other person. The perp with the gun fired first.
So, assuming this is correct information, if you were in your yard, and happened to be armed, and had a gun pointed at you by a masked assailant, you'd call 911?
I'm not sure the gunman would allow that.
Agreed. I didn't see that he was already outside, and the other facts you state. A testament to carrying even in your backyard and home.

That's hilarious haha defending your own life and friends lives = playing Rambo.
Thanks Finn for that, I have had a bad morning and that made me chuckle lol
Something like, we'd just like answers. We all want to know why the teens were out there in the dark wearing masks and carrying a gun.
I'm prepared to answer her, actually. I think we all are.
I do have a question thought. What in the world were the homeowners doing, at 4 a.m., on the front lawn? Not that it matters to the criminal case, but I'm just terribly curious. That's truly "dead hour" where it would be odd to encounter a group of 3 people in the front lawn, at least one of them armed.
I'm out at that time, exercising and watering the front yard. And off course my Glock is with me.

What's wrong with buying and selling drugs? Not that we know if that was happening.
You're 0-2 in this thread so far with your not so subtle jabs at the victims.
