But that's a business decision. If Fox wanted to let her go that's on them. For them it was about making money not about doing the right thing...same with Riley.
(If you remember there was much talk that Kelly was already in the line of fire for Fox...they were looking for an excuse).
But the "business decision" is/was made because of people like you, who hold (some sorta conservative) journalists to a much higher standard than elected politicians (who agree with you).
that's a great example for comparison. she merely talks about it it and gets fired

You would hope they vote on things that are important, but many vote straight party ticket without fail, or by emotion.
Megyn Kelly left Fox of her own accord if you remember and moved to NBC.
It was NBC that fired her for the blackface comment. I doubt she'd have been fired from Fox.
Current Fox hosts have said worse.
Personally I think it should have been a bit of eating humble pie / time out / warning, similar to what seems to happen at Fox. She was recounting what she remembered from growing up. Firing seemed very harsh and I think was just an excuse to fire her due to her failing ratings.

Actually, the firing was done to appease the angry leftist mob in this country that has taken over the Democrat Party.
from abc: "he didnt know it was racist, but now he does"
I still dont think it is racist. I think everyone is an idiot. I think he's a ***** for apologizing.
