Amazingly, I suspect that's pretty close to what the majority of Canadians are thinking right now as this issue is a nothing burger but the guy ran and got elected on the promise of "change" to the old boy back room type of political corruption long the standard in Canada. Then he goes and tries to manipulate the outcome of an inquiry into the Quebec firm of SNC Lavalin who were manipulating the bid process for government contracts.

Just a week or so ago the Liberal (Trudeau) party made a to-do over the Conservative contender (Scheer) having publicly taken an anti-gay stance some 20 odd years ago.

If there is a lesson to be learned here; it's that petty partisan politics will end up costing more than it ever serves to benefit anyone.

We are now electing people based upon the fact they may have lived in a convent for the last 50 years but have no skills whatsoever for the rather "gritty" business of the running of a country.

And why didn’t this come
Out when he was first running? Lol

LOL! Identity politics eats its own!
The guy that's entire existence relies on identity politics, gets hung by the very thing he promoted.
EPIC!

I still dont think it is racist. I think everyone is an idiot. I think he's a ***** for apologizing.
You and I are not sympatico on most issues but on this we agree right up to the point that just a week or so ago he or his party made a big deal out of the Conservative contender having publicly stated an anti-gay position some 20 odd years ago.

The worm hath turned and bitten him right on his hiney.

KARMA is a god that respects no politician.

I don't think most of us care. Dems or Repubs. This extreme left pc stuff is getting so out of hand that people will be afraid to anything. Of course if someone colors their face a certain color with the intent of ridiculing people, that's wrong, but if you're an actor or you're at a costume party you should be allowed to dress up accordingly, including skin color.

(Now excuse me while I go take a milk bath and then darken my skin so I can look like Cleopatra...it's not an insult to Cleopatra, not racist, and I am free to do it.)
