We don't need Israel..... So what you are saying if people are behaving normal, not asking for other peoples land to be off the map, and they have no oil, we just don't need them.....
So if you only have friends because you need them, that makes you a very selfish person.
You forget something. Alll the counrties around Israel are muslim countries who are calling each other "brother, family". So why not help family?
This post is revealing many who just do not like the Jewish people. Which is sad, as God's test of humanity is how we protect the goodness of Israel from the evil that surrounds it. Oil in the USA is plentiful but the main reason we no longer drill and explore and have enough Oil to sustain our needs is because OPEC donates so much money to all these environmental organizations which ties us up in court over these silly environmental law suits. When was the last time we build a new refinery in this country or drilled off the coast of California? There was not one oil spill after hurricane Katrina in the Gulf where there are 100's of off shore wells!

Your comment exposes your bias against the Jewish people, as Jews were expelled from many Arab countries and had their land confiscated. Jews lived in Israel for thousands of years and legally purchased any additional property before the 1948 UN vote which acknowledged Israel's Independence. However, when the same offer was made to the Arab Refugees they could not even respond, as these people were considered pawns by all of the Arab countries.
The Israeli judicial system protects Arab Refugee Rights more so than any of the neighboring Arab countries and did protect all Arab Refugee Property interests. So what you are saying is a continuation of Jew Bashing.
Palestinian is a term that arose after the Jordan killed 300,000 refugees. It is a word that has no history before 1967 and does not go back to Judea and Samaria where the Israelites lived. The term Palestinian is a modern political creation which has no basis in fact - and had never had any international or academic credibility before 1967. Many confuse Palestinians with Philistines which is incorrect, as the Philistines were Mediterranean people originating from Asia Minor and Greek localities and have no Arab connections.
We don't need Israel. The Arab oil is more important us to than Israel democracy. The last time I checked, my car doesn't run on Israel goodwill. Israel was important during cold war and we supported each other during that time. However, we don't need Israel and our alliance simply harms our security and interest.
LOL. The Arabs say the same thing with regards to us. If we love Israel and Jews so much, why not give them part of U.S land. Its funny how both conservative sides(in U.S and Arab world) keep hitting each other with the same arguments. Another example of conservative using the same words was when Bush keeps saying ' we like Iranian people but we have the problem with Iranian goverment, who we think is corrupt. Well the Iranian President said the same thing--american goverment is corrupt and Iranian like the american people.
The nations of the world are so inter connected that it is hard to go to war with out hurting yourself just by doing so. There is so much Middle Easter money invested in the USA and dollars held by it would be difficult to take them on in a war. If the flow of oil in drys up and the flow of dollars cashed in flow out how would we fund the war or what would we refine for our needs? What ever we did it would need to be in concert with other nations and not another unilateral move.
