Actually, now that trump wrote an eight page letter stating that he would not cooperate with the House investigation, I believe we have solid proof of Trump's obstruction of justice. Slam dunk.
There is no house inquiry. If they want to start one, they can pass a resolution in the house authorizing one like has happened every time before.....or they can just admit that there never was one and go straight to voting on articles of impeachment.

The committee then chooses whether to pursue articles of impeachment against the accused official and report them to the full House.
That's correct. But no impeachment resolution was passed, so it is as nothing has happened. Nancy has no clue what can of worms she opened: Biden is done and Trump will come out on top.

The WH won't cooperate no matter what. Ever. Even if there were votes, etc., the Dems know Trump will never ever cooperate. He will continue to obstruct, deny, deflect and resist. Forget Trump doing anything that is "fair."
Nope, your post is what is factually inaccurate. Holding a vote grants them no more power than they already have. The white house will not cooperate regardless of there being a vote or not.
That's factually inaccurate. If the vote occurred, the white house would have no alternative but to cooperate. Since the house doesn't want the trappings of a legitimate official impeachment inquiry, they will have no way to compel the white house to cooperate...and no way to charge him with anything if he refuses cooperation.
It's telling how much they fear a legitimate process.
I don't think the Dems fear a legitimate process at all. They're just onto Trump and know that no matter what hoops they jump through, he won't care and will continue to deflect, deny, obstruct. He has exhibited nothing but a blatant disregard for the Constitution and rule of law. I doubt he would start complying no matter what they did. And they know that better than I do.
The white house is counting on it....and that's what Pelosi is afraid of.
More and more people are seeing Trump for the obstructionist he is. To think he would cooperate if a vote were taken is just laughable.
