It would be impeachable for at least three separate reasons: first, because it would involve the extortion of a foreign leader for personal and political gain; second, because it would involve the solicitation of a foreign government’s involvement in a U.S. election; and third, because it would involve the solicitation of a foreign government’s investigation of a political opponent in a fashion that grossly violates the civil liberties of a U.S. person, namely Biden’s son.

How's this?

"The President, Vice President and all Civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.”

1. the extortion of a foreign leader for personal and political gain
2. the solicitation of a foreign government’s involvement in a U.S. election
3. the solicitation of a foreign government’s investigation of a political opponent in a fashion that grossly violates the civil liberties of a U.S. person

Those easily count as high crimes and misdemeanors.

Trump is still guilty of failing to register as an agent of a foreign country.

Can you post a link to this, an actual link to the law? We will wait....

Other than that, you are posting your opinion...

Oh...and what you put in quotes will not come up in a single sentence, like you posted.....

SO, give us the exact link you put in quotes, not wiki.....give us something credible....

Read the Wikipedia article that explains the role of the WH Counsel

Although at this time I believe William Barr is acting as personal counsel to Donald Trump as is Pat Cipollone in the WH Counsel job...
They cannot or will not separate Donald Trump the man from the office of the President
And now Cipollone is arguing that the President cannot even be INVESTIGATED which is totally spurious

I agree with your assessment
I think Trump has committed other crimes in office that make him unfit to serve and I think he lied when the took the oath of office because he never had any intention to “faithfully defend” the Constitution of the US

Be that as it may—
The language of “high crimes and misdemeanors” really fits anything the Congress wants to charge as making the president unfit for office—and if the Senate feels it is sufficient then it can vote to convict

It doesn’t have to be as bad as bribery or treason—it is just a catch-all to cover a generic offense...

Justice Department clears Trump of wrongdoing on Ukraine call

The Justice Department’s Criminal Division has already investigated President Trump’s conversation with the Ukrainian president about Joseph R. Biden and concluded Mr. Trump did not violate campaign finance laws, officials announced Wednesday.

And a separate division of the department has also ruled that the administration did not break the law by failing to quickly share a whistleblower’s complaint with Congress, saying the matter didn’t meet the definition of “urgent” that would trigger the law....
Democrats doubling down on a pair of dueces... Two pictures of zee naked Trump!

You do know that it was probably translated - I doubt they spoke only English.
