Democrats don't care if they get truck loads of money from pay for play... they are the corrupt party so why should they care.. They would vote Biden in and wouldn't care if he stole billions of tax payer money . They would say, look , Biden is a great president. He swindled and was cunning in getting away with it.

No he's asking why would Trump send Rudy to do the DOJ's work if it was about a legit investigation.
And you really believe that Trump would push Ukraine to investigate Biden (again) if Biden wasn't his political rival?

All Rudy did is get affadavits from Ukraine and talk about their contents. That shouldn't threaten you if you care about the truth.

You are confused. Joe did not brag about shutting down an investigation of Burisma. Joe bragged about his role in terminating Victor Shokin, the then-inspector general who was profoundly corrupt. Now there was a Burisma investigation that was shut down while Hunter Biden was on the Burisma board. Pretty suspicious, huh. Worth of a RudyG allegation.
RudyG stays quiet. Why, you ask. It was a UK investigation in money laundering. Britain froze the London bank accounts of the Burisma founder, a Mr. Zlochevsky. The UK required documents from the Ukraine supporting the seizure. Not only did Ukraine not send them it instead sent a letter attesting there was no case against Zlochevsky. Who was the prosecutor general - none other than Victor Shokin. The very same prosecutor that Rudy is relying on for dirt against Joe Biden. The very same prosecutor that Trump described as the very good prosecutor:

Those affidavits that you praise as containing truth came from none other than Victor Shokin. Ukrainians assert the affidavit contents reflect a Shokin plan to solicit bribes from Zlochesvky, for not activating a Ukrainian-based investigation of Burisma. (The one that RudyG maintains would threaten Hunter Biden.) Wanna bet that Zlochesvky paid some big bucks to Shokin for getting that letter sent to the UK resulting in the return of $23 million?
Biden has already been cleared. A nothing burger now.
