This thread is an oxymoron—

Same curve as the DOW and the manufacturing index. Down.

Trump has proved himself unwilling, or unable, to learn anything. Indeed, most of Trump's problems stem from his steadfast refusal to select competent advisors, much less take heed of their advice. If we have learned anything about Trump's administration, it is that he believes himself to be the smartest guy in the room and surrounds himself with sycophants and yes-men to bolster that belief.

If I were a staunch supporter of Trump's policies, I would be furious with him. Had he navigated the political waters with even a modicum of competency, far more of his agenda would have been implemented long ago. Apparently misunderstanding the role and powers of the President, he instead crashes to and fro like a bull in a china shop of policy which has largely prevented him from achieving what he promised - again, all because of the combination of his incompetency and refusal to listen to competent people.

"Is Trump on a learning curve?"

That question implies Trump is capable of learning. So far we have seen no evidence of that.

Trump has fired dozens and this was from his cabinet. These were intelligent and accomplished people. They were fired for disagreeing with God. Since God is infallible and all knowing, he need not learn new things.

Narcissism hell, the guy has a God complex.

Is Trump a real-life example of the Dunning-Kruger effect? Hmm.

John Cleese explains it rather well.

Its not enough to have a solid voting base; he needs to quiet his nay sayers and get through some legacy legislation in his second term.

If there is a new sheriff in town why haven't we seen some indictments?
He hasn't passed any significant legislation in his 3 years unless you want to count the 2017 tax cut as meaningful. He is incapable of working with anyone either here or internationally. He is good at tearing things up but not so good at getting a agreements even within the GOP. We have wasted 4 years with this mistake.

Default My second question was...

Why are there no indictments?

Actually that is not true of Trump. The only 'team' he ever 'worked' with is his family. The Trump Org had no Board of Directors and no Shareholders to hold Trump accountable.

He was a dictator in the organization. He actually fired an executive because she was getting more publicity than he.

He was a dishonest dictator then and thinks he still is. He has never worked with a team and the only negotiating he has ever done is in the form of bullying.
