This is why I am against gun control. If there were no guns then gun owners couldn't shoot themselves and "accidently" shoot their friends and family members.
Seriously though, this type of story happens far to often. Shooting first and asking questions later is bad strategy.
We make people learn to drive and pass a test before they get a license, but most anyone can go out and buy a gun with no training whatsoever. Something is wrong with that picture.

Every massacre has a reason. Same end result, just different murder methods. Gun, fire, truck, lead pipe, sick people find a way. Why don't we blame the fire, truck, or lead pipe?
No, it does NOT happen often. The Media and Libs just want you to think that. People die accidentally from many things all the time, like taking a selfie overlooking a cliff. Now THAT happens all the time yet nobody calls for banning smart phones.
Smart phones weren't designed to kill or maim people unlike guns.

Picking up a gun and using it to shoot or kill another human being is a premeditated thought.
Gun ownership has certain responsibilities like identifying the threat and the target before you pull the trigger. If you fail to do that, you should face the consequences.
