I promise you, no one is "infuriated" by what some family doc had to say on Tucker's show. What makes some GP an expert on gender identity, anyway? Oh, that's right! Nothing.
You've noticed that too ! Me thinketh he doth protest too much.
I don't know anyone who is "infuriated by this", just something in their heads.
Now, now....that ain't real! That's waaaayyy too scientific and also waaaaayyy too gray for these folks to understand, much less accept.
No, it is not. For 99.99% of people, their sex can be easily determined by a test. XXY is simply a male that has a genetic disorder called Klinefelter syndrome.
If you are "confused" about what sex you are, then take a test. You will no longer be confused and yes you will find out where to use the proper bathroom from now on.
Plus, your sex = your gender. Don't make this more needlessly complicated than it has to be.

Human physiology is complicated, people are complicated, the human psyche is complicated - and we can't just dumb it all down because some people want stuff to be easy so they don't have to think too hard and hurt their little brain.

Oh....so you're so generous as to admit it's not 100% but 99.99%? Incorrect again...
It is closer to 1.7% - similar to the percentage of natural redheads in the world. What percentage would it have to be for you to acknowledge it? But, again, not relevant to the question at all.
It really doesn't matter if I'm confused about bathrooms (I prefer "restrooms" for the public sort, btw) - I guess if you don't like the appearance of someone in your "bathroom" (do you mean the ones in your home?!) then you have no choice but to duke it out with them?.... or force them to take a test, wear the result on their forehead and then allocate police to enforce it? Naaahhhhh....just accept that little tiny bit of "gray" that exists and your life will be much calmer!

And that's a fine perspective to have.
But what do you propose for people then who have the disorder of their mind not matching their body?
Just deal with it? Medicate into a stupor? Therapy? One of the ways doctors suggest that (actual) transsexuals deal with their issues is to transition. Therapy is a part of that. Either through surgery, or other means to live as the gender they feel they are.
There are lots I disagree with in terms of the leftwing trans activists (who I think are spoiling the apple cart). But if you've got Bruce Jenner turning into Caitlyn and having breasts, no penis, a female appearance... then let her into the damned women's bathroom.
Similarly, if you've got a legitimate transwoman in a lockerroom with women, then let her be there for ****ssake. Now, this also requires the transwoman to be sensitive to desires of women to not see any male parts (if she still has them).... but there has GOT to be a sensible middle ground here. It also requires transpeople to understand that society isn't going to let a hairy man-looking guy with a beard into the ladies restroom because he "feels like a woman today, but tomorrow he might be back to being a man."

In webster's unabridged dictionary, gender is defined to be sex. So yes, it is the same.
GENDER
Gen"der, n. Etym: [OF. genre, gendre (with excrescent d.), F.genre,fr. L. genus, generis, birth, descent, race, kind, gender, fr. theroot of genere, gignere, to beget, in pass., to be born, akin to E.kin. See Kin, and cf. Generate, Genre, Gentle, Genus.]
1. Kind; sort. [Obs.] "One gender of herbs." Shak. 2. Sex, male or female. [Obs. or Colloq.]
3. (Gram.)

^^^^^This. Not difficult to comprehend at all, but in the Leftist's upside down world everything, and anything goes. No rules, no responsibility, no accountability. It's all society's fault! Oh, and if they can blame and disrespect the U.S. they do so.
But I am bemused. That's a remarkably ignorant doctor. (Carlson must have had to look pretty hard to find him.) DNA testing simply cannot be accomplished within 3 seconds. And sometimes, DNA testing is required. Both XX and XY babies can be born with incomplete/deformed genitalia, just as some babies are born with incomplete/deformed toes. I can't imagine why anyone would think that babies are always born perfect, nor why anyone would think that genitalia are always perfect. And then there are true intersex babies who are neither XX nor XY babies. https://healthresearchfunding.org/15...ia-statistics/
