In the recent debate, VP Joe Biden lambasted Trump over the withdrawal from Syria, calling it “most shameful thing any president has done in modern history in terms of foreign policy...." Normally I would be on board with this, except that Biden did almost the same thing, but on a much bigger scale, in Iraq in 2011.

From the book this year by James Mattis (then Centcom head):

Quote:
In summer 2010, Mattis met with VP Joe Biden about troop withdrawal. Mattis supported Gen Odierno's plan of leaving about 18,000 troops in place.

Of course the troops were pulled out in Dec. 2011.

Normally in his book, Mattis did not single out political leaders. This one case apparently was so egregious that he decided to make an exception.

Biden is such a fricking blowhard. Elizabeth Warren, even with her faux Indian history, is a much better candidate.
