Boise State is holding "an event" discussing grading; it is not imposing anything on anyone.
Discussion - oh no! And at a University! Horrors!

The College Fix attempted to obtain more information on the faculty workshop, which is hidden behind a campus login screen, but the administration did not respond to email or phone calls.
In other words...the authors of the article have no idea what it's really about but alarming titles make good click bait.
Lots of Boise State graduating engineering students have to take their FE exam more than once. Plus they need to keep their football team with players.
White student: 2 + 2 = 4, Grade C, too much privilege.
Asian student: 2 + 2 = 4, Grade B, too many of you got it right.
Any other race: 2 + 2 = 5, Grade A+, your diversity is a strength in your future math work place!
In a race to the bottom of standards with racist grading our country will fail as we will all get worse experts in the economy at large.
Wait until they do away with meritocracy and start hiring based on race, implement racial hiring quotas, in important areas like public safety. Where you’ll have a gang member run the police department, or the high school drop out directing air traffic. That will be fun.
Well Boise State University is back in the news again this week (last week they wanted white faculty and staff to learn about their "privilege") for wanting to do away with traditional grading methods based on merit and performance. Instead BSU (appropriate name, right??) would like to implement new Affirmative Action grading methods based on "inclusive grading."
As someone who went to college, and had some points deducted on test based on not using a certain formula that was never taught to me in high school(and was not stated to be required on the test or in the class), this makes sense to me.
The only thing that should matter is if I got the right answer.
Yet in the example given by a conservative, only the non asian minorities got the answer wrong.
Probably because when it comes to college admissions - white people need scores that equal X, Asians need scores that are X +, and other minorities need scores of -X in order to get in.
You don't find that offensive to minorities AND Asians?
It's reached the 'all people are equal, but some people are more equal than others' stage.
