....the homeless issue. This has seemingly gotten way worse than ever before in many areas.
I'm not interested in some poster on this forum saying "here's what I think about homlessness" I don't really care. I'm saying, I want to know that taking care of this problem, taking care of these citizens is something on the forefront of the minds of people who are trying to become the President.

....the Police. We are reminded over and over and over again about "missteps" and "overreaches" made by the police. We have seen videos of cops murdering innocent people. There is clearly an issue. The police are necessary. MANY of them are great individuals who do an incredibly difficult job. But clearly there are problems that need to be dealt with. Better training. Better care for mental health of police officers. Weeding out those that have obvious prejudices against races/religions/etc.

Pols don't care about Americans. When will people understand that?

They could do something about the violence and drugs in urban areas.
They could do something about the opioid addiction.
They could do something about child / human trafficking.
They could do something about the homeless.
They could do something about our vets, many of whom suffer mental issues and homelessness.

They do not care.

Simple. It doesn't fit the liberal agenda.

Actually Booker's platform is about police and incarceration. But yea, I have not heard people mention homelessness specifically. Reading between the lines, I was thinking that the goals with healthcare, etc etc, were presuming to cure some of the homelessness.

As someone who has been homeless before I don’t see/hear Conservatives doing anything about it either. Both parties talk about but that’s all it is. Talk.

Why don't we hear anyone running for president talking about the homeless issue
Because you are not going to like the solution.
Wake 'em up and send them packing. Tell them they can't sleep on the sidewalk.
Enforce vagrancy laws and see how many of them simply disappear.
