"arms suppliers for the for the Mexican drug gangs"?
Naw, we got rid of one of their largest suppliers, Eric Holder, when Obama left. Pretty sure he was not Conservative
Eric Holder? What a vacuous comment.
A study by the University of San Diego says the number of firearms smuggled from the US to Mexico is so significant that nearly half of American gun dealers rely on that business to stay afloat. On average, an estimated 253,000 firearms each year are purchased in the US expressly to be sent to Mexico, the report said, the vast majority of the sales originating in the border states of California, Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona.
As I said it is our dirty little secret that no one wants to discuss and is contributing to the Mexican drug wars.

I thought Eric Holders program was supposed to help address that? Instead he contributed to it

All I am doing is pointing out that these arms transactions to Mexican drug gangs are a problem and contributing to the narco wars in Mexico and directly contributing to Mexicans fleeing the violence.
We can ignore it or deal with it.
