The only way to deal with the Mexican cartel is to kill them. I doubt we have the stomach for that. It would also involve breaking laws on both sides of the border. I don't see that happening anytime soon.

The only correct post. And yes, we wouldn't have the stomach or sack to do what it would take to wipe them out.

I really can't believe people buy into the BS that making the drugs legal will put the cartels out of business....SMH...

The DEA had been in a collusion agreement with the Sinaloa cartel to manage the drug trade.

After that deal was exposed, they went after El Chapo.

While marijuana is being gradually legalized, the cartels are moving toward pushing more heroin into the United States.

Exactly! This is why the DEA went after prescription opioids, painkillers, pill mills, etc. They presented a threat to the black market opioids, addicts were going to their doctor, or the ER to get their fix (NOT the corner drug dealer).


This was a blatant attempt by a US law enforcement agency, to create laws that directly benefit foreign criminal organizations.
