Staying with the theme of the topic, Hillary uses Chardonnay, and LOTS of it.

Pompeo and Pence decide they want to hang on to their tattered careers and turn on Trump.

Mulvaney sees that Trump is going to throw him under the bus and cuts a deal to save his skin

Perry also is thinking Trump is going to throw him under the bus and decides to cooperate.

There are a lot of ways that things can quickly go south on Trump. Just like with Nixon, you don't know how it will evolve but I would not count on Trump getting out of this until the House is all done. If it were such a slam dunk acquittal, Trump and the Republicans would not be running around like headless chickens.

I think someone close to Trump is going to flip. My guess is it will be Mulvaney. What do others think?
I think those people who think Trump will be removed from office are delusional . These people for the most part never voted for him anyway and have been obsessed with thinking of any way they can to get rid of him You people have a record of supporting crooks and liars like the clintons and Obuma crowd and thus NO CREDIBILITY... stop crying

How ironic that those folks who have been busy spreading nutball conspiracy tales about Obama and Clinton with no evidence whatsoever are now denying the evidence right in front of their eyes of Trump's bribery and extortion scam.

Luckily, people on the left seem to read more and look up things more than people on the right. So when we have historians and political analysts explaining point by point, citing studies, collecting information - well, we have less reason to doubt. As opposed to people like the college drop-out Rush Limbaugh who mostly seems to spout his own opinions.

Maybe you can show us something other than your opinion?

You mean like citing studies about climate change? The hockey stick theory come to mind those historians and analysts? As being wrong...

And you mean like r. maddow, who absolutely 100% knew she had trumps tax returns and "now" she had him?

So, maybe you and your ilk are not as great as you think?

Mulvaney is a cur. He'll take a ton of abuse from Trump and then kiss Trump's foot. But he strikes me as a sniveling little worm too. I think with a little pressure he would flip like Mary Lou Retton.

Actually its over already, Trump managed to raise close to $4M the other day, (when the goal was $3M), he said he would double match it, in order to stop the impeachment process...that means, he has made the $12M 'payoff'...its over and done folks.
