No, they aren't. Where are you getting that nonsense? What kind of PR do the Republicans need to attract those former immigrants who are now citizens to vote for them? Promise them socialism and amnesty for their group here legally? Sorry, but neither of those are in the best interests of our country.
Stop insulting their culture, religion and language - basically treat them with respect. Figure out why you had their votes in the past, but lost them.
But of course, I'm probably talking to the wrong person about that.

The GOP is not insulting anyone. They and their supporters just want immigrants to assimilate into our society and not follow religions that advocate for "killing the infidel". We want immigrants and citizens who support our laws also and not advocate for amnesty for their ethnic group. No group is special and above our laws. We should equally respect them and not expect rewards for anyone just because they are ethnically related to us.
I personally have no problem with legal immigrants in reasonable numbers that aren't of the above and that will be a benefit to our society not a burden. There is nothing wrong with expecting them to assimilate into our society either. Diversity in our legal immigration numbers helps with assimilation also. I certainly wouldn't migrate to another country and try to stand out rather than to blend into their society.
Still wondering how the fact that Mexico once owned Calif. a hundred and fifty years ago would make a non-Mexican of today a part of who they are? Huh? That doesn't make any sense unless you are a Mexican. How did the above fact make that area a home for a non-Mexican today? That would be the U.S., not Mexico
If the statement about Mexico having once owned Calif. long ago (and there is no dispute about that) had ended there then there wouldn't have been an issue but it didn't! It's the latter part about Mexico's occupation long ago making one who they are today and also making that area their home that is puzzling and questionable from a supposed non-Mexican. How did Mexico accomplish that when they haven't owned Calif. for at least 150 years?
This thread is about legal immigrants that become citizens and vote. What is bigoted about our border policies that a naturalized citizen would object to and make them vote Democrat? What would that have to do with those who came legally and then became naturalized citizens anyway? They of all people should object to illegal immigration and support a secure border.

Just naturalized citizen would object? Oh for pete sake, I could tell you but you wouldn't listen. The GOP are making the Christians look bad, seriously, there is nothing Christ like, that they are doing. /period.
I realize that Jesus was the greatest humanitarian to ever walk the face of the earth and those are some pretty big shoes to fill --- but at least we can try. [the GOP, is doing the exact opposite] But if a person does not know what a humanitarian is, there is no use wasting time, trying to explain it to 'em, as I am sure they would never get it.
They would have to want to and that, is just not in the GOP, today. And btw, I know, because it shows. They should be ashamed and their not and that's just sad. Truly, sad.
What else can you expect from a democracy, a form of government where the majority can legally oppress a minority?
Of course, "recipients" will outvote "donors."
What few Americans are aware of is the difference between a socialist democracy and our republican form of government wherein all men have Creator endowed rights that governments were instituted to secure - and nothing more without express consent of the governed.
Endowed rights are immune from taxation, regulation or trespass.
But once you give consent, all bets are off.
Ironically, if Americans ever bothered to read their own laws, and then WITHDRAW CONSENT, it would collapse the socialist democracy in a New York Minute.
When all the "Donors" walk away, and only "Recipients" are in the tent, there's nothing holding it up.

Really?
Pete Wilson and Prop 187, 1994. Bet you voted for both of them.
Trumps's comments about Mexicans being criminals and rapists.
I couldn't stand Pete Wilson and we shouldn't have to be educating and giving all kinds of public benefits to the illegal children of illegal aliens. Why would legal immigrants who became naturalized citizens want that either?
This crap again? Trump did not call Mexicans here legally, criminals and rapists. He was speaking in the context of illegal immigration and the fact is that some are. How many times does this have to be repeated to you and yours?
When are you going to explain your remarks that I quoted you in my post #445? You won't and can't, will you?
