Seems like Saudi Arabia knew that their best times were over as President Trump aggressive America first agenda meant lots of Americans consuming our very own oil.

Because Saudi Arabia has faced such massive deficits as the price of oil they can't control over they decided to start pouring Saudi Arabian oil surpluses over the years into San Francisco "tech companies" that have a good sales manipulation strategy and convince to invest in these unpractical schemes that are unable to make a profit on their own with out big infusions of Saudi Arabian oil money.

What gets me is how the San Francisco liberals aggressively target President Trump because he built strong, beautiful, elegant buildings all over the world that are a tangible product. His fortune is built on steel, copper and commodities and housing people, companies.

President Trump offered a great selection of hotels, offices and apartments that people thought were excellent so they chose to rent from him. President Trump also saved people lots of money because he built so much property that supply in a market went up which meant more competition so companies that weren't as good could offer offices, apartments, hotels at a lower-price.

Many San Francisco-area based companies except for a few are just corrupt schemes that make people sick and Middle-eastern government oil funds.

Like Venezuela, Saudi Arabia is a one trick economy and dependent on imports for food, medicine and weapons.
The Kingdom has long been a source of venture capital in the US. Trump made very clear he loves the Saudis. They buy a lot of stuff from him. They own substantial stakes in US hotels, real estate projects, stocks and of course US treasuries. Until not too long ago, Saudis was the 2nd single largest shareholder, after Murdoch, in the holding company of Fox News.

Saudis represents nearly 20% of the US defense market.

MBS,aka, the bone chopper, sees the writing on the wall and intends to diversify the Saudis economy. He has been in discussions with Trump Org for years about long term plans to develop country clubs and resorts on some of the Saudis islands. He envisions creating a Dubai like area.

No way Trump Org or MBS could do this while Trump is in office and MBS is in no hurry.

Not clear why San Francisco struck a chord with you.

Can anyone read posts like this one and look me straight in the eyes and tell me the right-wing is not stone cold illogical?

What does it has to do with you... or San Francisco? How the Saudis invest their money is their business. They obviously think these liberal tech companies are going to be huge. So what? Why don't you right-wingers built something good enough for the Saudis to invest? How about taking some of that personal responsibility and make something of yourself instead of always being jealous of how successful liberals are and trying to bring us down to your level?

Always wonder why if these companies are so successful why aren't they making a profit, why do they need Saudi Arabian oil surplus money so much.

San Francisco liberals seem to want lots of stupid policies like the "Green new Deal" but yet they are getting tremendous amounts of funds from countries with oil companies, based on oil.

The hypocrite liberals preach about about their "Green New Deal" but yet many of the companies their wouldn't exist without Saudi Arabian oil money.

Do you know anything about running a large tech business? Do you know Amazon didn't make money for their first 20+ years? Are you trying to tell me Amazon got it all wrong?

So what if they won't exist without Saudi money?????????? There is Saudi money and they invest all over the world. I can't figure why you are obsessing over the Saudi money.

If there was no Russian money and no Hong Kong tycoons to save him, Trump would have been personally bankrupt. But there was Russian money and the HK tycoons came in and bailed out Trump. That's fine. It's how business works.

So I ask you again, so what?

I don't like the Saudis for several reasons: repression of women and minorities, killing of an opposition journalist and bloody intervention in Yemen. I don't think we should be giving them military aid, as Trump does.

But if they want to diversify their economy, and do it by investing in American companies, I'm all for it. If growing American businesses can raise funds from foreign investors, I say go for it!
