Great video by Stossel and a great questions, why won't the zealots debate. Why?
The more actual information that gets out about climate change the more apparent it becomes that we're all being hoaxed. We're all getting royally screwed on this and this is just the beginning if these climate scare zealots get their way.

Before this goes any further, please research on this joke of an organization. They are the Carrot Top of politics. An organization whose aim is to promote the use of fossil fuel, and consistently doing a poor job at it.
Getting invited to a Heartland Institute debate is akin to getting invited to an Incel gathering to debate them on why socializing with girls are preferable to video games. I don't see why any normal person would bother to go. And the people you see at these Heartland events are likely the same you'd see at an Incel meeting, just much older.
I think it's that but plenty more and is about total control of everything....it's a power grab and has been quite effective so far....it's very similar to religious cults where you cannot challenge the cult's beliefs.
It is failing at least in the U.S. Thinking people see through the hoax and scam and just see it as a money and power grab which it is. It preys upon the weak minded's egos to make them think their lives actually matter as they can "save the planet".

Actually, democrats are looking to turn the idea of climate change into some sort of new age religion. Instead of giving tithe to the church, we will just watch the standard of living erode for most Americans, as it is sacrificed to the alter of climate change by the cult of alarmists. All the while, democrat politicians will pat themselves on the back, all the way to the bank, as they are showered by ill gotten money, none of which they honestly toiled for. Yet they will take all the credit for the sacrifices demanded of the American public.

Yes, it is the ultimate ego-trip to ascribe to oneself the awesome power to SAVE the Planet.

Well if you control the economy, which all of their so called "fixes" for man made climate change do, then you pretty much control everything.

Because the debate needs to be based on science and carried out by scientists. Otherwise you get people who think they are scientists because they read an incorrect fact somewhere and try to push it even though the actual scientists have long ago debated and rejected that theory. It happens all the time on this forum and in public. The same nonsense is brought up time after time and it gets tiring.
The good news is that the science based debate has been going on for many years within the science community. Let them handle it - they are highly trained and it is their jobs to do the research and discuss findings at a high-quality level.
If you think you have new data that has not been discussed previously, it needs to be presented to the science community since they have the tools to assess it. They will know if it is indeed new and how it fits into the problem at hand.
Using the term "zealots" is a pretty good indicator that don't want a rational science based debate.
