Even independents are getting tired of the constant scandal-stalking by the Democrats, the explosive bombshells that keep fizzling, the breaking news that keeps breaking nothing alarming, the "walls closing in" that haven't moved an inch from where they were 3 years ago, et cetera.

There's an election in 11 months. The sooner Democrats work on a strategy to defeat Trump at the ballot box rather than trying to hound him out by hook or by crook, the better chance they'll have of re-gaining the White House by 2021.

From what I've seen, Parnas recorded every conversation he had with anyone, either on audio or video.

May be a bust, may be a blockbuster. We'll know soon enough. I'm certain he's being inserted in the lineup of new witnesses to testify.

Yea, great points.

Democrats are at the stage of "boy who cried wolf" with the general public now. With major buzz about this impeachment inquiry being that the public support for it is rapidly dwindling, Democrats have put themselves in a corner.

What the Democrats SHOULD do, is just what you said--work on a legit strategy to beat Trump and focus on putting forth a candidate who is not near dementia, who is not pushing far left socialist policies, and uses a common sense, middle ground approach.

If a new "boy, we got him now!" hoax/scandal emerges from the Democrats against Trump in 2020, they'll definitely kiss their 2020 hopes goodbye. The public is onto the game and tired of it....

Parnas volunteered to cooperate with the SDNY and the Intelligence Committee. What, did you expect they’d just say “oh, no thanks”?

Trump hardly is the cleanest guy in town. That he acted 'unwisely' for his personal benefit in the Ukraine call and the military aid holdup is not seriously deniable at this point.

That scandals are difficult to prove with a 'smoking gun' is also undeniable. But is that reason enough to then ignore them? Republicans now are for their political advantage. Democrats should follow? Are there to be no checks-and-balances from a two-party system.

Where would that leave the average American citizen who may not care about what best benefits the Republican Party or the Democrat Party but it appalled having a corrupt President of the United States in the White House. Believing Trump corrupt sure wasn't a positive when it came to his decisions on Syria.

I ignored the Russian investigations, waiting to hear the final result. What first caught my attention about the Ukraine call was the Schiff allegation Trump was asking the Ukrainians to create dirt on Biden. That I thought was pure crazy. Every bit as crazy as allegations that Trump was a Russian agent or some similar claim.

Increasingly, however, it's looking like Giuliani is skirting pretty close to the original charge made by Schiff. And that there was serious influence trading in play - that tied into that Schiff charge. But without Giuliani flipping there will be no smoking gun and the Senate will ignore it and that's just the way it is.

True but I don't think TDS allows for rational behavior or thought.

I somehow don't believe it because you seem to defend Trump policy.

I too wish the Dems would start addressing the issues. However, I agree with the impeachment process, as the Dems had to do something. And I agree with Mueller when he said he didn't exonerate Trump. I blame the Reps for not doing the right thing and holding this farce of a president accountable.
