Melania loves a draped coat on the shoulders or a 'cape'. They say women do that for the sense of 'power'. That's her look. She didn't invent it -- it is very popular long before she came into office but she sure uses it all the time

She looked fine, She never really takes any risks but always looks good.

I didn't think it looked that bad, just odd. Who keeps their coat on all through a party?

Emine Erdoğan looked like she was going to a funeral, black literally from head to toe. So it could have been worse.

No they dont. You're been watching too much Hannity. The world despises Trump for his incompetence, his way of winging it, because of his lack of experience ans screwing things up, and just being disrespectful and full of himself. They're all laughing and mocking him and rightly so. Other than that, he's your hero.

He's already insulting people. So uncouth. How many people have you ever wanted insult but kept it to yourself. Maybe he can go back to buying Greenland and be his own king there.

Melania has been using this coat/cape over outfit look now. I was hoping it was a dead trend but it isn't. It came into fashion years ago. There's an article talking about it from 2010.

Lots of folks say if you find something you like you should own it -- for him it gets tiring...but she doesn't look bad at all.

The PM of Denmark was at the same reception - wonder if that absurd offer came up in conversation?
