Democratic sources say that House Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler privately advocated for obstruction of justice as an article of impeachment, which would have included evidence from special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation.

As CNN reported this afternoon, there were multiple individuals, including committee chairs and members of Democratic leadership, who also agreed with a separate article of impeachment.

Ultimately, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi backed the two articles that were unveiled today — abuse of power and obstruction of Congress.

Exactly, but that is all they have and they are sticking to it.

Another Interesting Poll. Believe it or Not.

I tend to believe it and it shows another poll where Black support is around 33-34%. It appears even Moderat Dems like Trump and working for a living.

Now that that farce is over it’s time to get back to business - socialism, open borders, class warfare, higher taxes, demonizing working class Americans . . . .

That's "abuse of power." /sarcasm

Executive privilege applies, the "blanket privilege" you keep talking about is only applicable if Trump were suggesting that executive privilege could not be overridden. SCOTUS has ruled that it absolutely can be overruled by the judiciary under certain circumstances.... but Democrats didn't even attempt to do that, so there's no point in talking about it.

And thank you for securing Trump a second term. :-)

It would be every bit as valid a reason to charge hin with abuse of power as what they are trying to go with.

Kay Ann didn't secure him another term. But people who couldn't care less that Trump abuses is power and tries to act like a king may do that. Especially since the GOP couldn't care less either and refuses to uphold their own oaths of office.
