This is a quote from the one of the first drug enforcement agencies..."Its mostly Hispanics, blacks and entertainers using Marijuana, and they attack white women when they are under the influence".

You should read it again perhaps. The DA was warning people the cartels are changing tactics, and young white teenagers are also being targeted.
Some white non spanish speaking parents may assume the cartels would not target their kids due to their demographics.

Reporters and Politicians all put a spin on the news to advance their agenda. It is the Zimmerman angle. When George Zimmerman shot Treyvon Martin he ceased being a Hispanic man and became a white guy racist murderer that was itching to hunt down and shoot a black person.
People forget that Obama was half white since being a Black man was better for ratings.
Whatever angle they can work to advance the agenda they will exploit.

Yes, you are right about the way the media treats race for whatever purpose it suits them.
If George Zimmerman were attacked by an Anglo guy, the headline would have been, "White man attacks Latino in hate crime."
But, race-based statistics gathering is complicated by the fact that Hispanic is not a race. For example, go to the Florida sex offender registry and simply type in the very common Spanish last name "Gonzalez" and hit "search."
These guys are all "white" according to the FDLE for crime reporting purposes:
Yet, for discussions of demographics the majority of them would NOT be considered "white" (and indeed, while I agree and know many Hispanics are actually white, a lot of these guys would realllllly be stretching the definition).

How can anyone say that with a straight face, you ask? Perhaps, because he, as the Santa Cruz County Attorney, has the information and the facts.
As for the straight face part of your question, the article makes it clear that the U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents and the Arizona attorney, you seek to disparage, are attempting to warn parents, in the Tucson and Nogales area and "the Valley", to prevent tragedy and ruined lives. I believe their serious faces are needed and much appreciated.
C'mon, OP, why are you attempting to turn this public service and investigative piece for the local people of this area into your own soap box for your narrow viewpoints? It is disingenuous.
Anyone in our entire country could possibly benefit from understanding how and what the cartels are up to. Why in the world do you want to deliberately turn Americans away from a legitimate warning that could serve to save and protect any young person?
It is a great article and I applaud it for being placed here, but your motives and framing of it are not very nice and appear questionable, IMHO.
I hope everyone who opens this thread reads the article for themselves.
