I didn’t know the Christian value was to leech off other people or to force other people to pay for my compassion.
If you want to help other people, go help them with your own money, for Chris’ sake!
First, what do you know about Christianity? You're from China, are you not?
Second, a core tenet of Christianity (indeed, of most religious faiths) is to help those less fortunate than ourselves. I thought this common knowledge, but I guess not.
If you don't accept Christian values, don't move to a country founded by Christians, for chrissake!

I'm guessing that in A Christmas Carol, that you thought that Ebenezer Scrooge was the good guy, and that Bob Cratchet and Tiny Tim were the villains .....
The founding fathers were not Christians. They were deist. They believe that God was the great clock winder in that he winded up the world and let it go never interfering. It wasn’t until the 50”s that God started to be inserted in our money, etc.

Admission, I didn't vote in this poll, and I failed to read 24 pages of comments.
No matter what we think the answer to the poll should be, nearly all of us have paid for other people's stuff through the fruits of our labor. It's nearly impossible to live off the grid, or through the cash gig economy, and to avoid payroll, and/or income taxes. The moment you pay those, you are paying for other people's stuff, including healthcare. It matters not what you think, because you have no choice. The next question becomes how much is too much?
The real issue is keping the costs of doing so to a minimum as to avoid placing undue stress upon the "makers". If too much of their income is taken, they'll quit, or leave...if possible. For me, once my total tax load reached 50%, I felt it had gone too far, and I stopped growing my company. Everybody's % will be different. That would be a whole new poll.
Healthcare delivery costs have been out of control for too long. Our government has caused this, and they must fix it. I won't go into all the fixes again here. I've posted them before. Obama and the Dems failed us by working on the wrong problem (insurance coverage costs rather than delivery costs), so now Trumps trying to fix it. Trump needs the House to break the gridlock. Without total control of the federal government, only small incremental gains can be made.

To give of your own money, not to take from someone else.

I doubt it, and have been in charge of corporate budgeting. Focus of corps is to raise income. Not having to pay Health Insurance claims or premiums (many self insured) would increase corporate earnings.
Our continuously strong economy (skilled workforce mainly) is why we still have Employer Health Insurance. As long as almost all corps offer it, no one feels they may drop it and still obtain a quality workforce. The biggest danger is the size of the skilled contractual workforce, especially those w/o benefits. The larger it gets, the more it allows corps to think they may drop medical benefits and still compete for their skilled workforce.
Companies have to compete for labor. I seriously doubt employee compensation will drop in the mid to long term.

You can have any opinion you want, it doesn't make you a slave just because your opinion differs than that of your elected official.
