Whether it be many people in a church, school, shopping mall etc., curent kooks are looking for infamy by attacking such places.
Rather than bury my head in the sand, I look at guns as tools in the same manner as fire extinguishers, jumper cables, etc.
I hope to never need such things (even more so with a defensive weapon), but I'd rather be prepared to help my family/friends/self survive, rather than be a defenseless victim.

People keep asking how do we stop or at least minimize mass shootings. Well here is the answer yet they don't even want to allow that. They'd rather have innocent victims slaughtered than allow our Natural Right to defend ourselves with a firearm. How this makes sense to the mind of a Progressive is beyond explanation.

We cheer that the trash was taken out, as opposed to killing til his ammo ran out.

Let's see you get guns out of the hands of criminals first.

And how do you propose to keep "nuts" and criminals from obtaining firearms?

Please......be specific.

You do realize that this could have been a one sided massacre, unless said shootout occurred?

Did you hear about the machete wielding nut job that attacked that Chanukah party? Five people were stabbed, 2 critical condition.

Let's ban machetes then, that will keep us safe.

Next it will be a baseball bat attack. Killing or maiming people.

Let's ban baseball bats, surely that will keep us safe.

See where were going here? Someone with murderous intent will find something. As was mentioned previously, he could have ran them down with a car.

Let's ban cars, surely that will keep us safe......
