Wouldn't the Dems rather have Trump on the golf course then sitting in the oval office scheming to upset the Iranians, China, Russia etc etc... or exposing the hypocrisy of the Left and their media? On the golf course he is harmless.
On the other side maybe Trump actually needs all that extra SS protection because of the hate that the Dems and their media have buried Trump under. Iran has offered $80 million for his head. That so called comedian George Lopez said that he would do it for half that.
There are a lot of brain washed nuts out there and Trump deserves some recreation after kicking butt all over the world so who really cares how much it costs to protect him.

BTW, the SS budget for 2020 was completed last year., that's the way these budget thingies work. There is waste in that budget. Some $126.7 million extra in the budget will go for the 2020 presidential campaign, including the protection of major candidates, nominees, their spouses, and nominating conventions.

I don't have a problem with it. Presidents need to de-stress. How much did we spend on Michele Obama going off on unnecessary trips? I'm seem to recall it was a lot. Plus Trump doesn't even take a salary. Over 4 years, that adds up too.
I suspect every president has abused this privilege. I've heard stories of Bush having Air Force One turn around just so he could get a cheeseburger from a restaurant or something.
Oh yes, Trump's not taking his $400,000 annual salary really does add up. It adds up to a fraction of the $115,000,000 that he's spent on golf so far.
Anyone surprised? Didn't Trump say he would be the most transparent president in American history? Haha.
