Ivanka updates us on one of her projects as Senior Advisor, giving the history of this initiative, the lack of interest of previous administrations, current bipartisanship and overcoming obstacles. She said the Federal government had to lead by example.

Ivanka working with Nancy Pelosi on paid family leave!

And this is the person the "conservative" Trump fans want to succeed Donald!

I'd be willing to bet that sometime in the future she ends up working with Greta Thunberg on climate change initiatives.

Bob Woodward says in his book Fear (about Trump admin) that nobody could effectively push the President's buttons like Ivanka. She got him to back off, at least temporarily for his plans to fully withdraw from involvement in Syria. Ivanka put together a bunch of pictures and other evidence regarding Syrian children suffering due to war.

But President Trump also is quoted in the book as saying that Ivanka and Jared are "New York liberals." Not necessarily derisively, but just to explain some of their differences.

Still don’t see how companies should be coerced into paying for people’s personal choices.

Jared was a life long Democrat. He previously donated to Hillary and Obama.

Ivanka was registered as an Independent and was not able to vote for daddy in the NY primary.

Both held fund raising events for Booker.

Ivanka doesn't have to work that hard to convince him. Trump is a RINO in the truest sense, but he is doing enough of the white victim act and social engineering goals of the GOP that they back him. I wonder if Trump were to win a second term and the Dems got off his case a bit if Pelosi and Trump would not create a 21st Century New Deal.
