A deal with Iran is the only way to have some control. Not that we are entitled to controlling other nations at will. trumps done nothing but show the world deals with the US are meaningless. Iran, NK, etc are probably putting more effort into nukes now.
Oh stop. The subject isn’t the questioning of American exceptionalism, but you seem to derive that from a debate to fit your own personal agenda. I can read enough of attacks on that concept from Chris Hedges and the like on far left websites if I want to go there. But I will entertain your insult and silliness.

My answer is always, where would most of them be without America? Who does the world look to when natural disaster hits? As America goes so goes the world, and like it or not , America has been and still is the best chance for mankind.. Paint all the negative pictures you want , but time and time again, subject by subject, the world has become a better place for more people than at any time in the history of the world. And time and time again the sentences of the description of success have America in the diagram.

Control? We don’t need Iran. We are only there because of mistakes made in the past. We have too much humanity to just blast their nuke facilities and turn them into dust. Sure, we would risk the wrath of the world and other conflict, but strength is strength, and in a battle of survival , we would come on top. But of course we wouldn’t do it. It is actually the goodness of America that is our biggest weakness. And they know this, they exploit our weakness and try to disguise it as their strength. They are weak. We will keep them weak by squeezing them so hard economically that their own people will do the job for us. It may take time. We can wait.

If they block the Strait, they hurt themselves , not us. This isn’t 1973 or 1979 when myself and other Americans sat on gas lines because they decided to shut us off.

The deal was a bad deal. A bad deal is not a good deal for America. Plain and simple. They want to build a nuclear weapon. We gave them , Obama gave them, a ten year dated coupon to do so. We gave them $ 150 billion to buy some more American flags to burn in the streets. Along with funding more terrorism by proxy.Did you hear the daughter of the dead General today? Trump talks of bombing “ cultural sites” and she was directly threatening the children of American service members. Listen to her. “ Government Official”, that’s how Warren described the late General. He was a monster. Would she have the guts to tell that to the families of Americans he was responsible for killing and maiming?

We aren’t in conflict with the people of Iran. I don’t have any doubts they want some of the same things Americans want. Peace and Prosperity for their families and friends. They want to build up their lives not have then ripped apart. You need to separate their leaders from the people. They are bad people. They have been shown to be bad people by their behavior.

It isn’t America that is holding back the Iranian people from becoming a replica and modern age civilization of he past that brought so much to the world, it is their leaders that are responsible. A failed society, just like those whose citizens are flocking to the American southern borders. Dems want to blame America for that also.

Let me give you a small piece of wisdom. take it or leave it. It is best the majority of the time to never show weakness.
So we needed to withdraw from the agreement that Russia, China, France, UK and Germany signed up for because it indicated a weakness, that's it?

It was pretty peaceful after the agreement was signed back in 2016 but the violence steadily escalated after our withdrawal. Trump has no plan other than escalating violence and if you think he can get an agreement with several other countries and passed by congress good luck.

Its always better to settle things peacefully through diplomacy but that is out the window, using force is never a good solution.

Lightbulb Why did Trump abandon the Iran nuclear deal

It was a calculated move that appealed to "a certain demographic."

No need to overthink this.

There was no 150B given to Iran by the Obama term. There was estimated 150B in sanctions ,closer to 50B lifted for the deal. Trump and calculated should not be used in the same sentence. Trump is the closest thing to a Hitler ever seen in modern time. What is sad is the amount of Americans that support this 3rd grader. Smarten up folks and demand this idiot be removed.
