I don't know if Trump is just a narcissist (he has every symptom I can think of) and that resulted in him making that bizarre reference to the 1979 Iran hostage crises (what person in their right mind still cares about that? That happened 40 years ago) or if he actually has some kind of strategy behind that...
but nobody should care about the 52 victims anymore.
Regarding the Iranian people...let's not kid ourselves. They're exactly like us...more or less. Same blindly following natures, probably. Same close family bonds...undoubtedly a more messed up culture, but one they were raised into, just like us. The Russians are the same way. The Chinese are the same way. Everybody's the same way. The only real difference is our elected officials and the ways our governments work.
If we're going to kill people...so be it...but let's not lie to ourselves about those people being some monstrous barbarians.

We’re a culture of beasts too... stop acting like we’re so superior... we just require permits to do that but we’re largely too lazy to get those so instead we sit at home on the tv.
