Why isn't Rudy Giuliani, the president's personal lawyer, on Trump's defense team? Maybe it's because SDNY is investigating Rudy and he signed a joint defense agreement with Lev Parnas' partner, Igor Fruman? Fruman was arrested at the airport with Parnas trying to flee the country.
Let this sink in for a moment: The personal lawyer of an impeached president is in a joint legal defense agreement with one of the agents that helped perpetrate the alleged crime.
If that doesn't scream "Corruption!" then I don't know what does. The very fact that Giuliani and Fruman are sharing the same defense attorney suggests they were involved closely together in the same scheme.
Who is Fruman anyway? This article dives into that question and explores Fruman's shady connections in Ukraine, and touches on why Parnas flipped and Fruman did not.
Rudy is half the reason why Trump is in hot water. As Bolton said, he is a walking hand grenade. Rudy is going to end up indicted and in jail on his perfidy and he is taking Trump down with him.
John Dowd or McGhan would have been good choices but both resigned for different reasons, neither wants any part of this mess. Nice to see Ken Starr out of retirement,
I don't understand that choice, she is a lightweight. Why didn't he pick William Barr.
He can't pick Barr. Trump has ties with Bondi. His foundation paid her 25K to help re-elect her as Florida attorney general while she was investigating his university. She cashed the check & the case went away. He then tried to cover up the donation to her.
