Was this a stillborn presidential run? I live in MA. When he announced a few Democratic co-workers got excited and that was about it. There are political ads all over the place here. Sanders, Bloomberg, even Yang. And yet I never see any for Patrick. It’s not like electoral success is entirely dependent on campaign ads or anything, but you don’t hear a peep out of him otherwise. I spent 5 seconds Googling about his run and all that popped up was that it was struggling to gain traction (ya think?). Yet, his campaign site is still online and as far as I know he hasn’t officially dropped out.

He'll drop out soon.

He entered too little, too late.

No one knows who he is.

encouraged to run by Obama... what was he thinking?

As Obama is a landowner in deval's state, he needs to cultivate some favorable tax breaks for himself.
