Trump isn't the brightest lightbulb when it comes to economics. Its not Trump and his taxes (tariffs), its the federal reserve and its twin policies of easing and ZIRP that have created an everything bubble. i.e. the illusion of wealth wrapped in malinvestment.
If he knew what was really happening he'd keep his mouth shut, because the pending doom isnt going to look good on his ego.
I'll give him some credit for reducing the regulatory state a tad.
