Personally, I will vote for ANYONE other than Trump but I do fear a lot of Bernie supporters will sit out the vote if he is not the nominee and, I cannot imagine that he will be. I think most democrats would vote for whoever the nominee is but it remains to be seen.
No one want riots, except those like antifa, who function best in the midst of chaos. There's another Bill Ayers out there ready to rear their ugly head.
Of course some people want riots, because it gives them partisan ammunition.
In the normal course of events, one might expect the opposition to DJT to die down should he be acquitted. However, in this case I believe that not a few people view him as an existential threat to the Republic. Hence, I doubt that the active opposition will decrease significantly, unless he is re-elected and the Democrats don't win the Senate. If he does win, I expect he'll potentially have a period of peace, up until he gets caught committing another crime. Since he'll be a lame duck though, he may not be as motivated to break laws -- at least one can hope so. But the emoluments issue may come back into force, since he'll want to further pad his nest.

I don't think it will be that bad and I also think that most people realize that he won't be removed.
