I did a stint in the Navy in the late 60s. Now am I qualified to comment on Trump's deferment for phony heel spurs. And I have no idea why you bring up Bill Clinton. I didn't vote for him either. But I'll let you in on a not so well kept secret: Trump never had heel spurs. His rich daddy paid off an unscrupulous doctor to lie for Trump to keep him out of the military so he could galivant around New York City having unprotected sex with hookers and coke whores and call it his own "personal Vietnam".
I bring up Bill Cliton because he loathed the military and also didn't serve but that wasn't important because the media kissed his a$$ because he was a demonicrat. If this is such an important issue, why isn't it on CNN 24/7 and headlining in the NYT. And what does Trump's heal spurs, alleged or real, have to do with the great job he is doing as president, and the silly, sophomoric impeachment trail that is going down in flames?

BS...... Colin Powell is the biggest lapdog of European Supremacy there is. He loves being a good house pet of the west. He doesn't like Trump because Trump is a moron. It's that simple. I know millions of people wanted Archie bunker and Al Bundy for president . I get it. Doesn't change the fact that Trump doesn't know a Kurd from a Turd.
Wew! That black victim chip on your shoulder is must be hard to carry around. I agree that Powell played the affirmative action card his whole life. His real progressive views started to leak out when he worked for Bush. But his support for Hussein Obama proved that he was a RINO. There is no way a true conservative would support the likes of Obama, the most racists president in our history.
Donald Trump isn't worth the dirt on the bottom of Collin Powell's shoes. One man hid from serving because of those terrible "bone spurs", and the other is a decorated military man with a Bronze Star and Purple Heart, to mention a few of his accomplishments.
The two men should not even be mentioned in the same sentence.
And still the lemmings believe and fall all over themselves for Dear Leader.
Meanwhile, anyone with any guts and brains left the corrupt Trump administration in the first year.
